Japanese Antiques

 

The Japanese Antiques collection features a superb collection of works of art from the Meiji Era (1868-1912), including multimetalware and bronzes, wood and ivory okimono, lacquer including wall panels and cabinets (Shodana) with Shibayama type inlay, netsuke and a fine selection of satsuma by such artists as Kinkozan and Yabu Meizan.  We also have ceramics from the 17th to the Early 20th Centuries including imari, kutani, blue and white, sumida and makazu kozan.
